have got a chance of a jod that involves tiling onto gyproc around a staircase that rises to 6m of the initial floor level,just looking for some advice on what adhesive would be best to use,i know it would have to be mechanically restrained adhesive,thanks ross

Yes you do need to mechanically fix the tiles as well as adhesive above 3 mtrs

well sort of but that is an Oz site and limited to outside fixings but right idea where you fix though the joint.

You say gyproc, is that float and set plaster with solid block background, plasterboard on metal studs/wood

its gyproc screwed on wooden studs with the joints taped and plastered,they are not fully plastered
