Making wall Good advice
I'm tiling 4 bathroom walls , one of which ( not the wet wall ) is stud /plasterboard with insulation.
The other 3 walls are goo to go but where tiles have been removed there are a couple of fist size holes . I want to avoid reboarding just for these and wondered what the best way to make this good is . is there a trick to skim with rapid set and get it to stay flush without losing it between the studs?
Thanks
Dave

Re: Making wall Good advice
this is simple , get a piece of plasterboard, cut it to fit inside of the hole with some juggling, then put two small holes in the centre then thread string throught these and knot the string on the back-side then put plaster-board adisive around the edge , then carefully put into the hole holding the string, then pull string towards you and the board will stick to the inside of the hole !! leave this to set ,then cut string and fill flush with backing plaster job done!!

Re: Making wall Good advice
great thanks - all out of plasterboard , I suppose I can use some aqua panel instead that I have ?
Also - when you pull the board are you putting it in place ie flush or is it sticking behind the wall if you know what I mean ?

Re: Making wall Good advice
Thanks gooner , i think I prefered your way lol. Lot less messing about , especially when it doesn't matter about the finish too much.
