Re: this is a good product!!
As Whitebeam says, ok on a flat wall, I wonder what load it will take, also not sure about using it on stud walls, surely screws would be cheaper, but I do like the concept.

Re: this is a good product!!
we are all thinking OK on a flat wall but surly with the foam expanding ,it should overcome the undulations of an uneven wall!!

Re: this is a good product!!
But could the expansion push the boards slightly out

It's good stuff but tends to push the board out on smaller cuts. Only used it on three jobs, had a dot n dab job last week and I went back to using bagged dri-wall adhesive, messyer but feels a lot more solid to me;-)

Re: this is a good product!!
It works and its great......just not for tiling onto. I have used it quite a lot on window reveals and raising cills etc. Worth having a can in the van.
One thing it is great for is when you have a known void on dot and dab boards that have been fitted in the conventional manner. You can punch small holes in teh boards and inject the foam to fill it. I use this method ofr fitting kitchen wall units so the boards dont snap when you do the fixings up.

Replaced a damaged bit of wall this week that was dot n dab. So I cut out the damaged part and as you said in your post used the foam to strengthen the part of the board. Still used bagged stuff for the half board I replaced tho.
