I have used Granfix in the past with Travertine and no comebacks. It was Porcelain fix white though.

Not floors before only a little bit of wall while in work, I'm a spark. Why is this additive needed just out of curiosity. Not sure if it's White or not it's in a red 20kg bag this and it's rapid set

If it's grey or non rapid setting it may stain the travertine

Re: What adhesive for travertine tiles?
Just looked up this tile and it states :
A large format hard wearing ceramic floor tile replicating the beautiful natural look of travertine marble.
This is a ceramic tile giving a stone effect so a grey adhesive would be ok but I would still use a flexible adhesive but thats just me. I never use the non flexible adhesives

Re: What adhesive for travertine tiles?
What's the purpose of the flex? Also do I need to seal it not quite sure what that entails just seen it mentioned a few times on here
-
-
Re: What adhesive for travertine tiles?
No sealing required as they are ceramic. The flex isnt strictly needed but most fixers use a flexible adhesive these days as belt and braces, also the extra cost is not much.

The flexible adhesives just give a higher bond strength. You will need to prime the floor, not PVA.

Re: What adhesive for travertine tiles?
Usually primer would be dry enough to tile after about 1 hour
