Discuss Norcros adhesive in the Tile Adhesive, Grout and Substrate Preparation at TilersForums; anybody on here ever use norcros?? i am not changing from mapei, its just one of my local tile shops stocks it and has suggested i give it a go ...

    Default Norcros adhesive

    anybody on here ever use norcros??

    i am not changing from mapei, its just one of my local tile shops stocks it and has suggested i give it a go on budget jobs...i know its part of bal or was but any feedback would be appreciated

    Yes but I had a bad batch. It was full of hard bits, probably got damp. Cant remember much more about it except it wasnt any cheaper than what i usually used.

    Norcross is ok Mate, it was supplied to me on a large job in London, havn't had a problem, the grout was v good to, but I think they may be a bit limited products wise, Mapei is defo still the bees knees for me !! ok seeya Steve aka ozboz

    If I remember correctly ...apart from the lumps in the bag , when mixed it was quite gritty.

    I've used this recently Neale, supplied by a customer and, yes this was lumpy like gravel in the bag and very coarse also, but aside from that it seemed to to do the job though, just wish I had got a sieve on site

    I had pallets of norcross supplied to a big hotel job i had Ed a couple of years ago.
    I did NOT like the wall addy,kept falling off wall !! had to paste back of tiles !!
    the floor addy was great,tanking kits were superb too and grout.

    ive used it and it was ok, nothing good or bad to say about it

    it was floor addy that stuck the tiles and thats it. not as nice to use as mapei
    I know nothing I havent learnt
