    Default Which adhesive???

    Hi Chaps,

Doing a bathroom for my daughter. It's a substantially built house. The bathroom in question is about 2.4m x 3.0m, the large 9 x 3 joists the short way (gov spec ex police house).

I have completely ripped out the original flooring due to numerous chop ins over the years and redone it in 18mm T&G. Over this I've glued and screwed 6mm Noply board.

The floor is flat as a snooker table.

So don't want to waste money but want a proper job. Which grade adhesive should I be looking considering the above and also that very large tiles will be used????

    Cheers fellas

PS, sorry I know this probably gets asked every week but..........................

A single part flexible adhesive will be fine. I take it there is no bounce in the floor now ?
You may have been better using 18mm ply than T&G though...less joints to move and more stable.

Just call me old fashioned, bounce?? more bounce in concrete, seriously this is solid hence the query not to waste money on adhesive overkill. Thanks so far

As yet uncertain but probably 600 x 300 porcelain, certainly no smaller and not marble.
