studwork showing when i took off skirtings in the
Tile Adhesive, Grout and Substrate Preparation at TilersForums;
took skirtings off for tiling on walls to meet floortiling but a 2inch stud is recessed back from plasterboard by about 8mm ,any advice great... -

2 inches, the wall is the type with two 9mm plasterbords and cardboard between, cant remember what the correct name is,

you will have to cut strips of 6mm wbp and screw them to the sole plate, the other 2mm will be taken up by the addy
I know nothing I havent learnt
