Default what adhesive and prep work

hello all this is my first post. im going to try and tile my bath room, to start its only a small room and only need 10m2 which is going to be tiled. two walls are plastered and painted and the other two are plastered exterior walls. ive removed all the old tiles and adhesive sanded it all down. Do i need to do any further prep work ? will i need to prime the walls with any thing before i can start tiling.

I will be using tiles which are 310mmx310mm with a small border to break the two colours up. I was told i need about 3 (60kg) bags of Keraquick Fast Setting Single Part Flexible Floor Tile Adhesive. Is this right it seems alot. and is the right adhesive to be using

thanks for any help, sorry this is such a basic post and your seen it hundreds of times but i really want to have a good go at this

thats ok mapei adhesive is nice to use and is really good, you just dont want the rapid set as it will go off too quick for you and you will end up throwing most of it away

wall adhesive is better for walls as it will grab the tiles and hold them better

Use Mapei's Primer G for priming the walls yabbie, (that is if your using k'quick) I'd ditch the idea of using D2 as it's a dispersion adheive and your tiles are too big for it

you really dont want rapid set as it will go off before youve had a chance to use it

the standard set is the same but doesnt go off as quick
I know nothing I havent learnt
