    Default advise on floor please

    hi guys im looking for some advise on tiling a sauna floor , at the mo its a 18m ply then a very thin rubber covering and theres no way on this earth its coming up with out renewing the floor ,but the costumer want me to tile over the top to keep cost down , as this covering is so well down could i seal it and then use a flex add and grout to tile over ,there is no way he will pay to replace ,or should i just walk away
    thoughts please guy - girls
    be good at 1 thing ,not average at lots

    Agree with above especially with a sauna floor. Is it feasible to screw a backer board onto the existing floor?

    You have to tell the customer how the job needs to be done, and if he wants the work done on the cheap.... walk away. You have to decide how you want your business to progress, as a trusted tiler who will give a quality job at a good price, or as someone who'll do whatever the customer wants to make a quick buck. In my opinion..... reputation is king, and i would be quite happy to walk away.

    tell him you can do a cheap job with paint as a sauna hot and cold moisture wood sounds like a nightmare

    hey thanks all ,im to busy to do the job anyway ,was just asked to try and fit it in over a weekend ,but yes like you have all said do run run run the do run run
    sure a dif tiler now will get the call
