    Default mapei fiberplan?

hi, has anyone used or is it possible to use mapei fiberplan over caberflooring (chipboard) it does say on the bag you can but wanted some more info first. It would be 22mm chipboard, ufh and 10mm of screed. The customer wants to keep height down or plywood would have been used first instance. thanx

max you should need is 5mm if the wires/mat are down properly, you only need enough to fully cover the ufh!

ps-if your architect thinks laying ufh onto chipboard then s.l.c'ing i would be very wary

no it was an architect on another job so i have never asked since. Im not laying the ufh mat im just screeding it. In my opinion you need 8 - 10mm to deal with relaxed wires etc. I always price for this amount as it covers me and deals with any sparks who dont fit it properly.
so has anyone ever used it over caberflooring then?. ill maybe just call their technical team. Cheers

lay the u.f.h yourself and just get he spark to connect it,more money for the work and less for the materials

called the Mapei technical today and they said it is fine to put fiberplan down on caberflooring as long as the flooring has supports every 300 centres. They also said it doesent need primed but does need a drip test to make sure it absorbs.Just thought id let anyone know for futures sake
    thanks
