Its adhesive, nothing really different to be honest. I had about 3 bags of different adhesive to try out.
Trouble is you have to buy minimum 1/2 a pallet at a time deliverd to site or your address.

I also had a call and got a free bag and a T shirt! T shirt fits and the tiles are still stuck, so I'm happy. Wonder if I can get more free adhesive? Used the Eco? rapidset, mixed OK and didnt set in bucket before I used it.
He didn't say about a minimum order and I binned his card so I can't ask!![]()

forget the gimmicks free teeshirts and valentino rossi calenders and get the price down a bit
Valentino Rossi calenders? missed out on that. The H40 Ideal is good though, just tiled 20m2 stone bathroom with no problems. I mixed it a bit thick so had no problems with grab, don't know what the price is as I binned the reps card but i'm sure he'll be back!

Thanks Dan. I'll do that tomorrow and find out how expensive it is!
I think you're mixing up the brand there. Mapei is the high quality reasonably priced one mate![]()

David Scott tiles in Belfast (high end tiles...so they say!) supply KerraKoll addy. Ive used it a few times when the customer supplied. No problems at all. I didnt pay for it but anything from the said shop is over priced IMHO, definitely worth checking out trade prices on it. I wasnt so keen on their floor grout but then we are a fickle bunch!![]()

Don't think it's overly expensive as long as it's not from David Scott. Big flooring contractor we used to work to had a lot of it at one stage, and he was the kind of guy who didn't spend any more than a fiver a bag on his jobs.
Rep called me yesterday and gave prices, gotta buy direct at present but he says dealers coming soon. Prices were less than I pay for Bal, about the same as Mapei. If I had storage I'd go for a pallet but unless my wife lets me put it in the kitchen I'll have to wait for somewhere local to stock it.
what is the price they are asking for 1 bag buddy?

i GET USED TO THAT THOUGH.
And give me something to do rather than pull my hair out
In Poole's Nuffield Estate a guy stocks it for £**.** per bag, white or grey. Thanks for this post as I was unsure of it because of the price being so cheap and now am going to go for it and give it a try.
If it works nice and has a good bucket life I may just keep using it.

well i would never use it again
had the rep ,turn up ,gave the builder i know a full run down on the add and grout ,gave him a full tilers how to use and then he tested the floor to say yes all ready to tile on ,said he would stand by it 100% ,i told the builder it was not yet ready for tiling ,he said i know but this rep said its 100% ready and he will stand by it ,so i tiled the floor just as he said ,the next day it all came up ,rang the rep ,he never came back to us lol
when we did get hold of him ,he tryed to blame me
so i got payed 2 times for laying that floor , and the builder lost out , would never turn up to meet the builder and me again
funny that
so its up to you if you use it ,dont blame me if it all goes wrong
be good at 1 thing ,not average at lots

I had an issue and they never got back to me either.
cheers for that advice. glad i didn't buy it now.
A&C Dunkley ( Bournemouth) stock the range it is cheaper than Bal or Mapie I like the product had an issue with the beige grout the rep for my area Simon came round in 15 minuets! thats the best service i've ever had !
i agree barry, tenaflex is good, nice to use, customer is buying the eco to go on anhydrate screed ,im getting simon to do a test on it and checking the prep done by builder, but people on here putting me off.I would have thought after this ,if there were any issues then they should back me up!!!!
Beware of kerakoll, prices are high and not so good product, moreover, lack business ethics

Westerhope tiles in Newcastle sell kerakoll now as well so the distributor network is improving. I'm told the prices ar good as well.
