Exhibition Floor
My minds working a bit slow this morning. 200m2 of slate to be laid and its all got to be pulled up again 6 weeks later. Can anyone remember the name of that free floating membrane that enables us to do this?
I need more coffee, I cant remember the name of it at all.

Re: Exhibition Floor
Done dozens of em m8 we use roofing membrane works a treat. Overlap joints by an inch and away to go, remember to alow enough bed to be able to tap tiles in as its a beach if you have to re-lift. If its NEC or somewhere get a roll of doublesided off the carpet fitters..........

Re: Exhibition Floor
single wound polythene sheet.....that would not rip up when wet. I have seen the wall paper idea used in tile showrooms a few times. Seems to work ok there but is usually very small bays I suppose.

Re: Exhibition Floor
I have used a weed barrier cloth which you get from garden centres relatively cheap and easy to tile onto or you could use black builders paper this doesn't rip when wet and cost affective too
