hi guys, ive not had to do this before but ive been asked to price a job tomorrow and the guy on the phone mentioned tiling over some marine ply. what do you recommend to prime it with and if it needs tanking can i tank it without primer? i need to know this to reflect it in my price. thanks in advance

Make sure you prime before tanking any timber product mate - whichever tanking manufacturer you opt for, check with their tech. dept. for advice

sorry about the delay in replying dave, went to see the job yesterday briefly, the en-suite walls are ply, big job, 2 big bathrooms, 2 en-suites, all floor to ceilings and tiled floors and approx 40 metre square floor in kitchen/diner/utility. the en-suites are having showers hence the need for tanking the shower walls. thanks
