Hi, been to a job yesterday to price where the customer has removed all tiles to kitchen splashback and has taken large chunks of render off the walls revealing the brickwork (in places).
My first thought would be to bond and skim then return when fully dry - but the customer is not prepared to wait? This must be a problem lots of you full time tilers face? is there a quick fix to this? so i can tile any quicker?

Clear any loose render / plaster, bond and skim with rapid, it can be setting whilst you prepare and start work on another area

bal do a rpidset render...reasonably priced

You could take the rest of it off and dot and dab plasterboard?

As above, if big chunks have off there's a good chance the rest is'nt all that stable

Depends on how big of the area has come off ,could you fill it out with OPF
