    Default Spf

    Hi, i`m looking to tile my hearth and the inside of my chimney reveal ( where my woodburner will sit ) in slate, the reveals are bare brick and the nearth is concrete , will SPF adhesive be suitable or do I need a fire cement ?

    I'd probably go for a two part fexi harry, just for the extra flexibility with heat expansion/contraction

    you might want to take a look at refractory cements. i used to do refractory work, cant remember the names of the cement though, or if they would be ok for slate, google it

    I used keraquick on one last year Harry,no probs at all and i actually have one to do next week maybe too.
