bent plasterboard ?
Hi lads great forum as always
just wondered what would be the solution in this situation ive seen walls say in a downstairs loo and the plasterboard doesnt stay flush from one end to another it starts ok then sort of bends back into the studs at the other end if you get me
would this be that the board is bent or would it be that the studs havent been flush when built meaning the board that was put up wouldnt be right ?
Thanks Paul

Re: bent plasterboard ?
Noggings are the supports between the studs( uprights) and to insert will mean removal of plaster board..

Re: bent plasterboard ?
The stud could be bowed!
You might want to consider changing the plumber too!

It would all depends on how old the plasterboard is, if it's been there for a few years with no paint on it could be moisture making the boards warp.
The studwork could also be badly fitted or could have been damp when fitted and warped when dried out, so many reasons, are you tiling onto the surface.

No its a hollow sounding wall so i beleive its a stud wall
dot and dab would mean fixing plasterboard via adhesive onto breeze or brick wouldnt it ?
