Never used it and didn't know that Johnsons made their own adhesives.
Obviously they have been in tiles since early day but they may have it produced by someone else and just branded in their group image - Norcross.

I used pallets of the stuff on a hotel i tiled 2 years ago up north here john,
i loved the floor adhesive, loved the tanking kits and matting etc.
Hated the wall adhesive,i found it hard to trowel onto the wall but when it set it really set !!!!
well worth trying John, you might love the stuff like i did most of their gear![]()

i tried the adhesive and it was alright not as good as the top end brands but okay for a low priced product

used norcross quite a few times .thought it was good. i thought norcross ,triton and johnsons .were the same company

Looking at the link certainly indicates they are part of the same group.

Pretty sur this is how it went from my not so good memmoryNorcross and Ball were indeed in the same bed as each other at one time, when they split the stipulation was that norcross could not sell adhesive for a period of time (this was mainly over the Star adhesives). Around 2 1/2 years ago norcross were released so norcross started again selling adhesives this time under their own name, a good deal of this adhesive at that time originated in shorditch for those who know their companies.
.

An update on the norcros. I have used some of the white flexi rapid
and it was superb to work with. Easy to spread and set reasonably quickly. All the specifications on the bag seem to meet requirements
and the price is good at 20 euros per 20kg.![]()

I've used the RSFW on a trav floor & it was fine.....it went off pretty damn quick, but it was warm at the time, & we needed it to anyway. Didn't really seem that much different from the others really. I'd use it again for sure.![]()

not had that prob with norcross, but had same prob with pci adhesive, lumps in it
Tried the rapid porcelain adhesive this week for the 1st time, it set far to fast for my liking think I will be sticking to mapei.

I have been speaking with Norcros for the last six months now as they want to be specified on a lot of the contracts Im working on. We did try some samples out and I have to agree with Johnny on the grouts, it wasnt good to say the least.
For the time being Im sticking with Ardex and Mapei, I cant stand the moans and groans from you men when I try to introduce a new product! I'll keep watching your feedback on them, before I get lynched by my mob.
