Building up floor level by 15mm
I need to level a concrete floor with an adjacent kitchen floor so the tile run is a smooth transition.
Using self level is too expensive so was wondering whether using 10mm Marmox or Hardibacker sheets would be a better bet?
Would any further mechanical fixing be needed or is the tile adhesive on it's own OK.
Tiles will be slate

Re: Building up floor level by 15mm
Hello and welcome..
On a solid substrate like that.. adhesive alone will be fine to hold the boards..
There are cheaper makes than marmox and just as good.
This comp will help you no probs>> Underfloor Heating | Floor Insulation | Uheat
