hi all,

Can anyone recommend the best white grout on the market for whiteness, useability and most importantly for staying white for the longest period of time.

Price isn't important. I just want to grout it once and not have to worry about re-doing it for a few years because of discolouration etc.

Bal do a product called microban white it has built in anti mould preventative etc then when it does eventually turn colour you can get Bal micro revive which brings it back good as new ive used it b4 its quite expensive but pop into your local CTD they will sort you out

pci aquafug for me, bright white,very easy to apply and work never had any issues by far the best i have used

Mapei for colours but Bal microflex beats by far in my opinion any white grout for whiteness and texture.
Mixes pure white and stays that
Though from experience wouldn't trust any of there other grouts

Maybe, but reading some posts epoxy is not easy to apply. As a DIY'er I'm looking for something easy to use.

Any other recommendations?

Aquafug is a good one Stealth and I also use a lot of the BAL Superflex white

But epoxy is the daddy

miroban is good epoxy the best!

How many of you use epoxy grout in a domestic shower/bathroom.?

If you use epoxy grout do you still need to tank the area.???

epoxy mapei do a good one a lot easier to apply than they used to be.epoxy is the only grout thats 100% water proof

I have used it once in a domestic bathroom and yes, I tanked as well. Also used it (white) on my own entrance hall floor as we had a couple of dogs. Still white and oh so easy to clean.

Emailed them last night - still waiting for a response!.....(is it trade only?)..

....so while I'm waiting for them to reply to my email (if they ever do) .......does anyone know anywhere that sells this elusive gear in my area? - I live in Lichfield. so I can get to anywhere in south staffs (cannock, stafford, etc) and west midlands (walsall, wolverhampton, north brum etc).

Otherwise, I might have to start looking at the epoxy stuff, but looking at some posts on here, this grout is a nightmare to apply. Is it really that bad?
