    Default Which adhesive

    Evening all,
    About to start a tilign project and am tryign to decide whcih adhesive i should use.

    Am tiling a concrete kitchen floor, that is 6.1m2 and using ceraminc tiles 450x450mm.

    I have a budget of abour £25-£30 for adhesive and would welcome any advice on what i could use, so far am split between teh following:

    Wickes - Floor tile adhesive

    Wickes - Rapid set floor tile adhesive
    Evo-Stik TAF Adhesive for Ceramic Tiles

    Unibond Waterproof Floor Adhesive

    Or I think B & Q do something called Cerafix ??

    Any one had any experience of these adhesives or can anyone recommend somethign that would be suitable at the rigth price?

    I would be looking to get Mapei Keraquick or Mapeker from Tile Giant....
    Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarfs are not happy

    Definitely Ceramic, they have a PEI rating of 4.

    i cant comment about the adhesives you listed as ive never used them and probably never will .25-30 pound does that include the grout as well you may after alter your budget pal . sorry

    Its difficult to have a budget for adhesive, you need to get the right gear or you risk the floor failing. I would use mapie or ultra, I would avoid any on your list like the plague.

    the only other i could suggest that would keep to budget would be toppfix
    alcohol-the cause and solution to all of lifes problems

    No the budget does not include grout, I will take a look at mapei products. Can anyone suggest a good online supplier or any off the shelf stockists?
