Bottom row of tiles in shower cubicle have come off due to water ingress. i'm intending to take next three rows off as well (they're 50mm x 50mm) to check ... -

Bottom row of tiles in shower cubicle have come off due to water ingress. i'm intending to take next three rows off as well (they're 50mm x 50mm) to check condition of PB. then let PB dry out. what primer would best be used before re-tiling? any other pointers?

If it's bad you may have to replace plasterboard, plasterboard sucks moisture like a sponge

Mould could set in too..

Whitebean and Dave, you were right PB was rotten and distintergrated, took 3 rows off, put some noggings in inserted new piece PB, primed and replaced tiles. grouting in morning. job done. thanks
