yes most single part flex is suitable

adhesives tell you what needs primed on the bag but usually not the face of ply that is to be tiled

Always better to tile onto a cement board rather then straight onto ply. Single part flex adhesive is suitable for ply but I use 2-part if I cant overboard.

i have not been doing much prep in the jobs i have been doing you so i sound silly asking. Could i go straight on to floor boards with a aqua panel / cement board and if so what thickness and where is the best place to order from ?
