bal limestone grout in the
Tile Adhesive, Grout and Substrate Preparation at TilersForums;
anyone had this grout and its dried light in places and dark in places not right at all... -

I cant help you there matey, I have never used bal for anything.

How long has it been grouted ? is it possible that it's still drying out ? and was it mixed right ?

I will not use that colour from BAL any more, i always get shading and i have tried alsorts of methods, same result..crap.
Not all the colours do it just the limestone/black and grey in super flex... I have mentioned it a few times to a PST and got no satisfying answers..so i gave up using it.
I use Ultra colour or another i have tried lately as well is the PCI grouts..

Can only agree with Dave on this!
Mind you when we used to use it, it often took just over the 3 days to fully dry out so you may be ok.
We changed to Mapei grouts - 132 Beige is a good colour.
