    Default Lift old adhesive?

    Hi

I'm lifting old tiles on a concrete floor in preparation for laying new cermaic ones. The tiles are coming up very easy however the old adhesive is taking ages to chip off. Bearing in mind i'm having the floor screeded anyway is it acceptable to leave the adhesive and screed over it?

    cheers

If the adhesive is really stuck down then you will be fine screeding over it.

I use a heavy duty floor scraper, and or fein multimaster to get the loose adhesive off, but if the residue is well fixed, just prime and screed over

As the guys have said above but make sure you get rid of any loose bits if there are any.
