    Default ecoseal silicone

lo all,has anyone used this product as of yet? its called ecoseal silicone, basically the silicone comes in a foil sausage as oppose to a tube and you purchase a tube seperate but are meant to get up 7o uses out the one tube hence much less waste environmentally, its bactericidal also and comesin clear or white.

price was good also 3.40 a sausage so cheaper than a few good named silicones,im going to use it ona job next week and try it out, just wondered if anyone else has ussed it/

they also do a painters mate acrylic filler and also glass sealants, seems a good idea for the environment

No worries. If you think that sausage stuff is any good i'll give it a go. Would be good if they do a discount on 12/24 bulk buy.

aye marty,im sure the silicone will be decent enough, just be interesting to see how many uses out the tube you get before it becomes obselete, you buy new nozzles as well 50 p for 3

well i used this silicone yesterday despite being told a normal silicone gun would be fine its actually too big for a normal gun and sits squint in it you need to buy the eco seal gun.

the sausage is messy when you cut the top of with scissors and also after applied the inside of the tube needs gutted out of silicone, all in all imo it was awkward to use
