Re: off white grout/?/
I wouldnt play that game if it was me.
Id go to different suppliers and pick up some colour charts of different manufacturers. Chances are one of them will do a grout that the customer will go for.

Mapei do:
Manhattan, Silver Grey, Jasmine, Vanilla and Beige. All could be described as 'off white'

and if you want to go to B&Q and use the Buildfix range ( Mapei ) they do 'Oyster Silver' as well , which in effect is another grey with a fancy name

The big problem with this is if you had to do more than one mix its impossible to get the same colour, it was the same with the colour mix packets you could get.

this is true
i used to love mixing my own colours for the client
i would pick out the base colour in wallpaper and mix some universal colourant with some gloss and paint the rads to help lose them against the paper
they were well impressed
its a job to find them now as no one stocks them
no one stocks them cos painters are no longer taught how to mix their own paint
it died when city and guilds apprenticships turned into nvqs
I know nothing I havent learnt
