    Default Plastic strips for packing out mosaics

    Guys, i have seen a post elsewhere mentioning "plastic strips for packing out mosaics" anyone have any more info on this type of product as it is something i would find useful. Any help would be much appreciated

    THE ITEMS I HAVE LINKED TO ARE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT oops capitols !
    The supamessh ones have self adhesive backing so you can peel it off and place mosaic on the mesh, trim the mesh and the fix to the wall where as the Supapro version you spread the wall and push the mesh into adhesive then the mosaic.
    Both ok but i am preferring the mosaic mesh at the moment....only used a few times though and definately speeds things up, keeps things clean and tidy too.

    Iv used the supapro a lot and I think they are brilliant! Not cheap if your doing a large area in mosaics but very fast, very even and very clean. not to mention no more trying to make a job look good with tiles twice the thickness of the mosiacs

    I've used tile mesh for border mosaics, it stiffens up the strip and makes it easier to get them flat imo

    I thought so too Doug, havent used them on irregular thickness mosaic though and dont think i would.
