Evo-stik Sealant
Hi
has anyone used Evo-stik kitchen, shower and bath sealant before? First time I have used it (as supplied) but when I used my mist spray before removing excess I found that the water turned milky white.
Checked today and seal seems okay.
First time I have noticed such a white residue when using a sealant.
Is this normal for this product?
Cheers
Frogeye

Re: Evo-stik Sealant
I have just read the info on the tube - it states it is an acrylic low odour sealant. I am used to the high modular silicone ones. As I said earlier, this is a new one on me.
Nice to use and not have that astringent smell hit you but a bit of a worry when you watch it being washed away as you smooth it.
Says its waterproof though - must be when set
cheers for the reply

Re: Evo-stik Sealant
Well to answer my own question, and for completeness, don't use it for around baths.
This must be a water based product.
Not as flexible or durable as a good high modular sealant.
In process of removing - easy - which is a clue - back to some of the good stuff.
