Ezy-lite board ? in the

Has anybody ever used or heard about a backer board with magnesium in it called "EZY-LITE"
It may be called somthing else in the U.K. or the U.S where, according ... -

Has anybody ever used or heard about a backer board with magnesium in it called "EZY-LITE"
It may be called somthing else in the U.K. or the U.S where, according to the local; importer here in Australia it has been sold for around 10-12 years.

if I know! - but it looks something like a fine plaster/chip board - smooth as a baby's bum - but harder for to stick to lol

sounds similar & they seem to make the same type of claims but the one i'm dealing with here is made form Magnesium oxide not Gypsum & comes from China - damn is smooth, like the old fasioned sheet plaster. early testing only shows, it as difficult even to get primer to stay stuck to it!

i have also been advised now that this board is sold as "Magboard" in the U.S.
