    Cool Which adhesive to use?

    When installing 6X9 tile on the bathroom walls, which are not exactly plumb, requiring almost a half-inch of "filler," is it better to use thin set or adhesive?

    use a good rapid setting adhesive
    alcohol-the cause and solution to all of lifes problems

    I would fix the walls first.

    Half an inch is way too much to build out with adhesive.

    Put some runners up either side with rapid set, then fill the middle in to obtain a perfectly flat wall

    Just remember to prime the walls first if they are plaster - BAL APD primer if using BAL adhesives or Primer G if Mapei
