Just make sure you clean the tiles first using sugar soap make sure the existing tiles are sound use a brick and scour the existing tiles so the adhesive grabs the tile you can get porcelflex adhesive this is a 1 part cement based flexi adhesive for porcelain tiles that should be fine.Cheers Mick.

bonding tile on tile is simple if done correctly - " if you can stick to the bottom of porcelain you can stick to the top of it !!! --- if it's clean that is !!!

1/. wash down with sugar soap to remove any laitence - ( not visable ) if this is on a floor, be very carefull it is very slippery.

2/. Mapei kerabond plus & isolastic

provided the original tiles are stuck, knowledgable adhesive manufacturers like Mapei & Laticrete have been doing this for over 30 years - no problems & they will normally warranty in writing if you need it --- Although Mapei are famously slow to put pen to paper over here lol
