Its a big no to using ready mixed adhesive. Cement based adhesives only and you need one that is suitable for porcelain.

Sir Ramic, point taken certainly will be using cement based, is this because of size or type of tile ??

Both, Dispersion adhesive wont dry with a tile that size, no air can get to the centre and it needs to be modified (polymers) for porcelain. Cement based will let you build out if needed too

PS, dont forget to prime all surfaces before using cement based adhesives ..NOT PVA !

Personally i think you will better with a standard setting adhesive, it will give a lot longer bucket life and less wasted adhesive.

As long as it's suitable for porcelain then it should be fine...I only use the mapei adhesives at present and the weber ones i haven't used on porcelain..
