Hi,i am going to use the homelux tanking/decoupling membrane and ufh wire system on a ply floor surface, the homelux site shows the ufh on top of the membrane,is it then ok to put slc on top of this?i.e.will it adhere ok to the membrane?.Thanks.

This will be a first floor bathroom!

hi yep still the same the area between tiles and membraine will get damp (thats why need for outdoor slc to handle moisture) membraine protects all below![]()
Have got some mapei fibreplan on order, will that be ok?

fibreplan is only recomended internal use only which way are you going to go![]()
I'm not sure,i thought i had this all planned out,of course there is going to be put a solid bed of keraflex on top of the slc, maybe 6-8 mm how much moisture is likely to get through?,the floor area of the bathroom that the slc is going on is not in the showertray area, this will just be mosaic onto the keraflex adhesive and there will be a glass showerscreen separating the two areas!!

as above is my advice![]()
