Wasn't that gear mentioned on here about a month ago? I'm sure a tiler had a problem with a customer after the addy failed, the tiler was asking if he could hold Topps accountable.

Depends on the tech details, and if he read them.

But I did just get offered a tub of 'Topps water proof' own brand.

Doubt they'd cover it if it turned out not to be.

Mapei do Ultramastic III. It is a tubbed addy for timber floors, I avoid selling it like the plague

there's always a tubbed gear on the market for wooden floors, not heard of one yet that hasn't had a failure (of the ones I've heard about!)

TBH, I never heard of a failure of Ultramastic III onto ply etc. But, I did have a customer that brought it, then used it with Porcelain tiles on top of vinyl. Needless to say, 2 weeks later, it still wasn't dry.

I've not heard of UltramasticIII Matt, so, for the second time tonight, I have to plead ignorance

Just because I haven't heard of a failure, doesn't mean it hasn't. As I said, I avoid selling it like the plague so the amount of customers I have gotten feedback from is very low

You have much more experience in this field than me
