Despite the challenging economic environment, Mapei is continuing to buck the trend within the UK market. A brand new 4,800m² storage and distribution facility has been added to the manufacturing site at Halesowen, West Midlands for the manufacture of screeds, ceramic adhesives, building products, levelling compounds and adhesives for resilient flooring.

Not only will the new facility greatly increase Mapei UK’s storage and logistics capabilities by using the latest computerised systems, more importantly it will enable Mapei UK Ltd to add many more new product lines and increase the portfolio and flexibility of production in the UK.

Wow. I can't imagine any other adhesive company being able to do such a thing. I've heard that raw materials on lorries get backed up to one end of their factory and machinces process the stuff and send it out complete at the other end. Guaranteed, every time, to be A1 and exactly as it says on the 'tin'.
