Re: flexi adhesive
Sounds like too much water. Most of the adhesives I know of use about 1 part water to 3 parts adhesive. 20kg bag of adhesive wants about 4 to 5 litres of water. Not used all that many adhesives so sure the pro tilers on here will also advise.

Re: flexi adhesive
i always start of with about a 1/2 litre of water in the bucket first then mix both in gradually with this gear keeping it thick as it can quickly turn wet

Re: flexi adhesive
never use topps own, but as a rule the same as above post really. water in first then add adhesive and whip it up to a creamy thick consistancy. it wants to be soft enough to bed your tile, but not so stiff the tile will 'sit' on it. a bit of practice and you'll get to know it's right by eye and the feel of it on your trowel.Good luck!
I saw a really really sad looking guy in a tow truck this morning..I thought 'He's heading for a breakdown'
