Re: ply floor what adhesive to use
Single part flexible, check if the manufacturer reccomends if priming is required

Re: ply floor what adhesive to use
should have used 18mm really but if the floor is really solid as a rock i am sure it will be fine. you are supposed to prime the back and edges first. although i have never bothered.. and never had any comebacks. i use bal bond on the face and bal single part flex (really good) i know you dont have to use it but i do. hope this helps.

Re: ply floor what adhesive to use
Spf will be fine. However, I prefer to use Ardex 7001 just to be sure. I always prime with neat Ardex Primer 51 before tiling on plywood but check adhesive manufacturers instructions.

WHY?
12MM WILL BE FINE ONTO T AND G BOARDS OR CHIPBOARD FLOORING.

As long as you checked the original substrate for deflection issues, then no probs...

I would normally use Keraquick, but i've just used the new weber set rapid spf and its pretty awesome tackle, low dust, suitable for 9mm ply or 6mm construction board.

Used Weber on job before last and I agree wonderful stuff, just used keraquick with latex plus and this was a nightmare it stuck to the rubimix like cack on a blanket.

Re: ply floor what adhesive to use
Keraquick is the stuff I use, don't forget to add some latex to mix it with.

Re: ply floor what adhesive to use
Keraquick with latex plus should be a safe bet.
If anyone needs a copy of the Mapei black book with all the descriptions of the adhesives, just PM me and I can post one out to you.

Re: ply floor what adhesive to use
Just to add to above - I would add latex plus as a precaution as the ply is only 12mm. Shouldn't need to prime the ply if you do use Keraquick.

12MM WILL BE FINE ONTO T AND G BOARDS OR CHIPBOARD FLOORING.
British Standard Recommendations are;
minimum 18 mm overlay if joists are at 400mm centres or suitable cement fibreboard.
minimum 10mm overlay if the joists are at 300mm centres (new build) or suitable cement based fibreboard
