removal of vinyl tiles
hi guys, i removed some vinyl floor tiles this afternoon before i tile the floor tomorrow.my question is - how do i remove all the sticky crap that got left behind, the old adeshive or do you just tile straight over the top? the floor is a downstairs cloakroom approx 2sq m, solid concrete floor with 300x300 ceramics being fixed. many thanks

Re: removal of vinyl tiles
Is it a rubbery adhesive left behind or is it a solid black coloured stuff.
Whatever it is needs to come off before tiling but it depends what it is as to how you remove it.

It's a brown sticky substance! Like syrup!! That's the best I c
