Has i dried completely, these other walls are they the same substrate as the ones you have already done, Mapei grouts are brilliant grouts but you must mix as per instruction's water ratio etc, and cleaning you must let it dry enough before you clean excess grout of the tiles and not wet it too much. Another point was the adhesive all the same colour?

I'm hoping that it's because it's not completely dry.. the substrate is all the same, I must admit the first lot was slightly too wet, so I made sure the second lot wasn't, so that maybe the problem.. could I skim over it with a thin coat of grout?

THe 5kg bags are made in a seperate factory to the 2kg bags...so the colour will be different...So in theory, you have 2 shades....

Did you get the 2kg's from the same place you got the 5kg's..?

If so, then explain the problem and they might out of good will give you some more to grout over the 2 kg area....Do point out that they should know about the difference the production of the small and large bags..

You can either recolour the lot with Aqua Mix Grout Colourant or simply seal all the grout with Aqua Mix Enrich N Seal

depends on how severe the shading is in the grout...thats not the answer to all grout problems...but does work.

Best thing is to know that the grout is sold in seperate packets from different factories, and then it won't happen again...

Best option is to colourseal over all of it with Aqua Mix Colourant. Will come out perfect, and best of all will be stain resistant for many years.
