i have recently had my floor tiled and noticed black grout on my oak doors ,just wondering if yous now how to remove the stains ?

probably a sander,then re-stain them

yes they have 2 coats of wax on them

Sand them down and re-apply the wax.

Try some warm soapy water and if that doesn't work then do as bri say's..

Hi Bricktop, had a customer ask me about this a while ago. I found that white vinegar took all the old grout of and did not stain or harm the oak doors. Did a small test area where it would not show, no staining, so went ahaed. About 40 mins work and one happy customer. Hope this helps.
