    Default Recommended wall tile adhesive

    Hi,
Can someone recommend me an adhesive (not tubbed) for wall tiles, which is not rapid setting, as I am not confident of working within a 20min time frame for each batch.....
    Cheers
    Jimbob
PS I aim to prime wall first with SBR Bond (Everbuild) from Tradetiler. If this is not appropriate, please shout! (walls are plasterboard stripped of previous tiles)

Cheers for the recommendations. I have a Topps near me selling BAL and a Tile Giant next door selling Mapei, but everything they stock seems to be rapidset for the pros. Mustn't get much trade for slow setting from DIY numpty's, so I shall probably have to buy online

I know in my store we get next to no call for a slow setting adhesive. But, we can order in any product from Mapei. If you want a certain product (Adesilex P9, Keraflex etc), just ask the store staff to order it in for you

Ordered Keraflex Maxi from Tile Giant over the phone. Must say I was impressed with the lady I spoke to. I work out of town so it is difficult for me to get to the store midweek to pay the deposit - she offered to go to the store early one day so I could go before setting off for work!

Toppfix flexi for me every time £9 a bag for 20kg cant beat it if mixed with paddle it hangs around a bit longer than most rapid flexi's Dont understand why some tilers use white powder if you keep your joints clean and when finished tiling b4 grout, wash off walls check all joints
Ive priced jobs where other tilers have quoted £65 for mats for 22mts ( white powder ) using topps grey flexi half the price Ive got the job......... happy days

    Any adhesive
    - that conforms to EN 12004 class C2TE
    - and you like to work with "from the feeling"
You get what you pay for.
