If i fix ceramic's or porcelain i always ask the customer if they want the grout sealed to help with maintenance. Its a good ad on service, most customers want it, but dont know about it unless you mention it.

I was thinking the same, and i imagine it makes the grout more waterproof and less likely to attract mould too.

Timtam, Seal-Guard is supposed to be pretty good for sealing grout. It is pretty expensive, but if you manage to get hold of the 1 litre tin, rather than the aerosol, you get better value for money.

On another note, did you take your name from the exquisite Aussie buscuit?

I've used seal guard on my own bathroom and the water just runs off the grout rather than sitting there. Easy to spray on aswell but make sure room is well ventilated.
