I enjoy using Mapei systyms and have tryed S2mono. I had a problem with the time it took to dry. It was not ready for foot traffic after 24hrs. Anybody else had this problem?

I note that the Mapei S2 Mono states can be used on anhydrite screed-I assume it includes those with a calcium sulphate binder although forum advice is beware of cement based adhesives and their possible reaction with the binder. Below is copy of email from Henkel Technical dept regarding their Unibond Gypsum Primer.
Whilst we do not manufacture a Calcium Sulphate based adhesive, the use of UniBond Gypsum Primer will prevent the reaction occurring between the anhydrite screed and cement based Tile on Floors Adhesive."

Anyone any experience/comments regarding this primer

Yes, if you are unsure about it, use something that you know works like an acrylic primer or and SBR type agent. There are plenty readily available and our Sponsor Tradetiler.co.uk does a very good deal on SBR. Tile Giant also do Mapei Acrylic primers too!

I've just finished a job using BAL green floor screed addy. That stuff smells like it has a hell of a lot of rubber in with it, seems like good stuff. I'm assuming it'd be really flexable
