    Default Advice on adhesive.

Some confirmation and advice required! I have a full bathroom to do which includes bath and over shower and full bathroom floor to ceiling tiles. Bottom half tiled using 500mm x 250mm ceramic, border then top using 300mm x 230mm ceramics. Client have purchased grout adhesive etc. Only a newbee and until now have been fortunate to use own adhesives etc and have been a BAL devotee. The client have purchased tubbed Granfix SuperGrip and Granfix grout which is my concern. Instinctively I would not be using the tubbed adhesive as I suspect that with that tile size it's not going to dry any time soon. Am I also correct in saying that with that size of tile any deviation in the wall is going to give me real problems as i cannot increase the adhesive bed to any extent.
From looking at the spec it does mention that it can be used with large ceramic tiles but doesn't really elaborate.
Any experience of UltraGrip or I am right to be concerned!
    Thanks

Personally i would not use a dispersion adhesive on that size tile...

Don't let the customer dictate what you should use...you are the fixer and have to guarantee your work , so use what you feel comfortable with..

An interesting combination of tiles - different sizes above and below a border tile. Are they different colours as well and will you be able to align any joints?

Granfix superfix only suitable for tiles upto 300 x 300. I don't believe that it tells you this on the tub, from past experience, but the data sheet will.

My advice don't use it and use a powdered addy.
