Do I need flexi adhesive and grout in walk in shower?
Hi all.
I have recieved some great info on here so trying my luck for some more!
I am tiling a walk in shower with concrete screed floor and plastered walls. The area will be tanked floor and walls with Bal wp1 or similar.
Tiles are ceramic and for the wall are 600x300mm and floor 300x300mm.
Do I need a flexi adhesive and grout ?
Also walls are being skimmed due to bonding plaster being used in the pipe chasing, how long should I wait to tank and tile it?
Thanks alot for any help. Cheers Si

Si, use a single part flexible adhesive (powdered) you'll also need to prime your walls with the appropriate manufacturers primer.Use a flexible grout too

Cheers doug for the quick reply.
I was going to use powdered adhesive and grout due to the tile size and you lot said so!!! Now I know they must be flexible, thanks mate.
Just for my knowledge why does it need to be a flexi?
Thanks for your help. Si

I use flexi as a matter of course Si. Can't see the point in using anything other, It hardly any dearer than normal non flexi and also a lot more versatile
