    LCT

We do lots of epoxy grout, maybe a working vacation to the UK is in order?

Good luck finding someone to work with you on this. Or maybe you could make some test panels at home and practice using epoxy grout, and then tackle the job yourself? That's what I did the first time....my tile store gave me some tile that was going to the dumpster, I made some test panels, and the epoxy rep met me one day and he showed me how to use the product. After doing several test panels, I felt I had the confidence to go and use the product on the jobsite.

Epoxy grouting is fairly straight forward process although the product itself is expensive. What is the job your doing that requires epoxy grout matey

    LCT,

here's another thing....some of the best epoxy grouters I have worked with have been rookies to the tile trade. The reason I say this is that they do the best work because they come into it without any grouting experience whatsoever, and they follow instructions and do a good job. I think the epoxy horror stories that we all have heard come from guys that want to grout with epoxy and do it the way they do with cement grout, and the two products and methods are not the same.

You can do this yourself and make the $$$ doing it, as long as you follow the directions from the manufacturer, have the correct grout floats and sponges, and change the way you are used to doing grouting.

Epoxy grout is a 100% waterproofing solution ( if applied properly )areas that are immersed in water or subject to continuous wetting, the last job I used epoxy on was a milking parlour, 1200 mts and the spec specified epoxy, it comes in a tub ready to use, get your customer to put his hand in his pocket because its very expensive, If memory serves me right its about £90 for 5 kilos, but that was 4 years ago
