This heatwave is causing real problems with the rapid set...it's going off faster than I can get it upstairs to use it!

This heatwave is causing real problems with the rapid set...it's going off faster than I can get it upstairs to use it!
can you use tubbed adhesive for 50x25cm tiles? If not, I will have to try standard flexi but I suspect that will go off quickly too.....
any ideas anyone??

I would not use tubbed gear for that size tile , can you get hold of mapei P9 if not a standard flex. Mix in smaller amounts if it's going to fast

Thanks Dave, Grumpy and Whitebeam...
It got so bad this afternoon Whitebeam that I was down to mixing enough addy to fix 5 tiles... I will try a standard flexi tomorrow...

I found that you get longer in a bucket with mapei so might be worth a try.

I had a porch last week,5 mins max-2 tiles at a time with rapid.
Switched to Keraflex and got 1 hour

I'm doing walls for the next few days, so Ardex X7G+ for me
. Not going anywhere near a rapid set this week
