This heatwave is causing real problems with the rapid set...it's going off faster than I can get it upstairs to use it!

can you use tubbed adhesive for 50x25cm tiles? If not, I will have to try standard flexi but I suspect that will go off quickly too.....

any ideas anyone??

Standard set will be fine......i had the same prob last week with rapid set flashing in 10 mins.....

No!!!!! Use standard set stuff!

I would not use tubbed gear for that size tile , can you get hold of mapei P9 if not a standard flex. Mix in smaller amounts if it's going to fast

It got so bad this afternoon Whitebeam that I was down to mixing enough addy to fix 5 tiles... I will try a standard flexi tomorrow...

went to Tile a conservatory today mixsd gear. spread gear .scraped up gear ,went home

I found that you get longer in a bucket with mapei so might be worth a try.

standard set flexi for me too

I had a porch last week,5 mins max-2 tiles at a time with rapid.
Switched to Keraflex and got 1 hour

I'm doing walls for the next few days, so Ardex X7G+ for me . Not going anywhere near a rapid set this week .
