Re: Who Carries Benfer Addy in Sock
I have found two outlets through the tile association but they are both smallish outlets - I am looking for a tile giant type place to get Benfer Tile Adhesives and primers.
Any help appreciated

Re: Who Carries Benfer Addy in Sock
Have just recently used Benfer flex rapido that the customer had supplied and not a great experience.
It was an undercover outside porch, hot weather but mixed and kept in the shade.
Did expect it to not last to long in the pot but i had 5 mins max and the tile was firmly stuck 2 mins after.
150mm terracotta slighty random sized tiles and not possible to adjust.
Explained to the builder to no avail and ended up using Mapei adhesive i have for another job to successfully complete.
One and a half bags out of pocket

Fabtastic - What area do you work in - do you stock or can you get hold of benfergyps to supply on to tilers and clients so they can use it with anhydrite screeds. I have found one stockist in the Leeds area and one in Preston. Both are now on my list of essential contacts. I have passed 3 people to both this week already.

Valuable advice I know but not sure in this case its relevent cos I only want to get hold of the Benfergyps which being gypsum based it will (I think) have a longer pot life. Will monitor it though cos if the Gyps aint no good I won't suggest it to my customers
