Open a cash trade account with them, you can do it on the spot.

Re: Help - Need some Weber set plus
Sorry mate, I thought you'd just started out tiling, I didnt realise you were doing up your own place, you need to be a business customer to get an account and subsequent discount, may seem harsh but if tradesman didnt get a discount over members of the public we'd make even less cash and there'd be no benefit for us.
Nice one Dave for sorting it for him, the webber set plus is good stuff I've been using the white since it went on offer.

I can understand why you get a discount purely through the amount you use on a regular basis it only make good business sence but the mark up for the public that the tile shops put on is ridiculous - £20 to trade £50 to public - cum on.
No wonder joe public goes and buys from the DIY sheds - if they werent so blinded by 200% mark up they could see a golden opportunity to take a massive slice of custom off the DIY chains and give the public a better product and better advice

£50 is excessive, I dont really know what non trade prices are tbh

Re: Help - Need some Weber set plus
The policy that CTD have of only giving out retail prices over the counter is the reason that I still deal with them after all these years.
As a few forum members say on their sites they are able to pass the discount on to the customer and still get a decent fixing rate.
However when you have to add nearly £10/m for some adhesives and the customers has only spent £20/m on tiles it soon adds up.
The Webber offer and quality of adhesive is very good. The last Webber trade day it was buy 2 get 1 free - that was 18bags for under £90-00.
But there was still no cheap Bath Boards!.
John.
