    Default Knauf - AquaPanel

    We have just started to stock the 6mm Aqua Panel cement boards at my shop. I hear alot of talk about hardibacker on here and wondered what you guys thought of the Aquapanel?

    Used the 12mm stuff and know that has allways been good for the job, could'nt get hold of the 6mm though thats why I used hardie

    used them before , as good as hardie Backer as I remember. how do they compare on price these days as HB has come down in the past year!

    The 6mm Aquapanel retails at about £14 for a 1200 x 900 sheet.

    I didn't until we took delivery of ours It is available in 6mm for floors and 12.5mm for walls.

    Nor did I. I bought the 12mm. It's far too heavy for me to lift.

    I like it, I prefer marmox but price dictates sometimes and on that note wickes sell 12.5mm 1200x900mm sheets for under £13 so your 6mm doesnt seem that well priced to me.
